[googlefont="Raleway"] Let's play. @open words: 200+ | School was going to start soon and Olivia was not thrilled… yet here she was at Diagon Alley prepping for the coming term. She was left to her own devices. Being seventeen years old and going into her final year at Hogwarts, her parent trusted her to do the ‘responsible’ thing. Yeah, right. She had other things on her mind…
With her list of school supplies tucked away in her pocket, Olivia made through the crowd and found herself in the best place at Diagon: Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes!!
The color, the noises, and all the neat gadgets overwhelmed her senses. For a moment, she just took in the awesome shop before letting her gaze venture for more specific items. This was her last year at Hogwarts and she was going to make the best of it… one her schoolmates would remember.
Smiling like a cheeseball, she was a kid in a candy shop. She went for the basket of Exploding Whizz Poppers. Picking one up, she was thinking about all the things she could do with it… when and who she could use it on… The list was endless. Grabbing a few more, she was going to need a basket, but before she could even think about it, someone knocked into her. “Hey! Come on!” She exclaimed as she dropped the few poppers she had in her hand. Most of them fell back into the basket, but one fell on the ground.

Post by JAMES S. POTTER on Aug 28, 2016 0:59:25 GMT -6
James hated school, but he’d be lying if he said that he wasn’t looking forward to the upcoming year. It would be his final year at Hogwarts. He was looking forward to leading the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. They would win the Quidditch cup this year, he was sure of it. He was going to work his team hard this year, probably make a lot of them hate him, but James didn’t really care. He really wanted to win that cup. His family went to walk into Flourish and Blotts, but he hung back, watching the crowd gather at Quality Quidditch Supplies. “Dad, I’m gonna go look at the new broom, okay?” he asked, but ran off before his father could reply.
He joined the crowd, fighting to get closer. He wanted it, but he’d already asked and was told that they wouldn’t buy it for him. Since he was planning on playing professional quidditch when he was done with school, James had decided to save up any money he was given in order to buy it. The one he had now was okay and was pretty fast, so it would be fine for the rest of the year, but he knew for the pros, he needed something a lot faster. He would need the new one. James looked at it a little longer before fighting his way back out and went to his uncle’s shop.
He already had all of the pranks he needed for the year, but it didn’t hurt to go and look around. Besides, he wanted to talk to his uncle about the big prank he was going to pull at the end of the year, so he could go out with a bang and make sure everyone remembered his name. James walked into the store, greeted the employees and made his way down an aisle to look at stuff. Not paying much attention to his surroundings, he didn’t realize there was anyone else around until he bumped into someone. “Sorry,” he said, looking at the person he ran into. “Oh, hi, Olivia. Ready for school to start?”

[googlefont="Raleway"] Let's play. words: 200+ | Having to bend down and grab the fallen item, her irritation had quickly dissolved when she realized who it was. Turning around, Olivia smiled at James. They had started school together so it was hard not to run into him every so often. It was going to be even more so this year since she was co-captain and he was captain of their house Quidditch team. She was actually looking forward to working together. Sure, they could butt head sometimes. James was a typical boy and Olivia could be as stubborn as a mule. What two people didn’t argue every so often? All she knew was that James was also passionate about Quidditch, just like she was.
Indicating the popper in her hand, she nodded. Who needed books and quills when she could get poppers and other pranking toys. “Course I’m going to need a few dozen more or so,” she laughed before stepping forward to give James a hug, wrapping an arm around his neck. She hadn’t seen him all summer. “What about you, Potter?” She asked, using his surname playfully instead of using his first name. She let go of his neck and poked him in the side lightly. “Ready to prank some first years? I mean, if it ain’t us then some other schmuck is going to do it and they’re likely to muck it up. We have to put them in their place proper like.” She gently tossed the popper at him, confident that he’d be able to catch it.
“You’re either with me, or against me, Potter. What say you?” Liv said a bit dramatically, poking him lightly in the side again.
But before James could say anything, she could see her parents from the corner of her eyes. They didn't look pleased to find her there and they were calling her out. "Eek, well, sorry to run, but I'm being flagged down. Talk about penalty point," she joked and laughed lightly at her joke before walking out.
