[googlefont="Raleway"] Hope this works. Lemme know. :] words: 200+ | The summer had gone by way too fast, but Olivia couldn’t complain. This was her last school year and despite wanting to get the heck out of there, she was also sad that she wouldn’t be returning the following year. The prospect of not having to do homework lessened her sadness though. It was really the readily available friends that she was going to miss. Over the summer, if she wanted to meet up with anyone, they’d have to plan it out. There was rarely a coincidental meeting on the streets.
Back in school now, Olivia was getting settled in. She had already been to the Quidditch field and then unpacked her suitcases; she did have her priorities straight. She met up with a few friends and got a hold of James the moment she could. They had to talk strategy for their team. Olivia was just as determined to win the cup as James was. They didn’t do much talking though. It was still early in the game.
Liv now found herself in the kitchen. After making her rounds across the castle, the lively girl found herself needing some food. Sat at a small table, Liv had a plate full of food in front of her: fruits, bread, and little pieces of salami and meat. She popped a grape in her mouth and tossed one at a house-elf who caught it. Liv laughed. Those little guys were so awesome.

a falling star fell from your heart. Hufflepuffs had it pretty easy when they weren't in classes. If they were camped out in the Common Room, they could easily sneak out to grab themselves some snacks in-between meals. Some of the Badgers were able to get down there frequently, and you'd be surprised to know that they were in pretty decent shape with all of those trips back and forth. It wasn't that far of a walk from the kitchens and back, though... Nutritionists everywhere would want to sit down with these people and discuss their binge-eating lifestyles. But it was only early in the school year, and the prefects of the Hufflepuff house would have to sit down with the First Years and discuss to them that they weren't allowed to just wander in the kitchens for the hell of it. La di da. The same old song and dance: Besides, would anyone listen to it? Anita got the spiel when she was in their shoes, and she was very good about listening to what they had to say early on. But she was seventeen and a Seventh Year. There was a part of her that almost said 'look, are you going to listen to what the older students told you when you a First Year', but she didn't wish to listen to that part of her. She knew she could get caught sneaking around, looking in refrigerators and whatnot. If a Professor saw her, she was going to get "the talk". And it would actually be the first time that they did. As the faint voices from Prefects past slowly started to exit her mind, she made it into the kitchens. Anita looked around for the closest freezer for some ice pops - one of her favorite treats - with some dirty looks and death glares from a few of the elves who were cleaning up dishes from the previous meal. The Badger had to think it was some kind of ploy; one that would supposedly have her running for the exit before they found a way to get a Professor to sentence her to detention. She shook her head and rolled her eyes, not caring if the closest elf could mutilate her at any moment... Which would have been a shame, considering there could have been some sort of lawsuit between Anita's parents and Hogwarts. When she reached the freezer to grab some tropical-flavored ice pops, she glanced over to someone sitting at a table by herself. She knew the person as Olivia, who was also a Seventh Year. They were pretty close when it came to a friendly relationship. Why not go over to talk to her? Strike up some 'hey, great to see you again' conversation? Knowing it would be rude if that wasn't what happened, Anita felt obliged to go over to the Gryffindor. "Hey there," Anita said, trying to get into a comfortable position across from the Wood child. "Great to see you again!"After that, she took another glance at the elf who was chopping things up for another freezer. Damn, that thing could kill you if it tried...

[googlefont="Raleway"] sry it took so long :/ hope it's not terrible words: 200+ | Liv was definitely not the type to need someone to have fun. She found things to do on her own, ways to entertain herself. There was just so much to do at Hogwarts she wondered how anyone could ever get bored. Then again… that didn’t mean she didn’t love company. She loved chatting with people and it didn’t always have to be about her. Actually, self-centered people really got on her nerves. A conversation should be a give and take. If a person only wanted to talk about them self, they should talk to a mirror and save everyone else the headache.
Liv was having fun with the house elves… at least the ones that wanted to interact with her. Though sometimes annoying them was also entertaining. There was something about poking a person’s buttons that was just so amusing.
Anyway, she didn’t even realize someone else was in the kitchen. Looking up when she heard a voice, Liv smiled widely to see Anita. “Hey, pretty lady,” she teased lightly. “Good to see you too. Sit,” she offered lightly, pushing out the chair across from her with her foot and then sitting up. “How are you? How was your summer? Any juicy hook ups?” Liv smiled, joking, but being serious at the same time.

a falling star fell from your heart. Everyone had different opinions on the kitchen elves. Some people thought they were the friendliest people on earth. Before Anita sat down across from Olivia, she took note of how playful the elves seemed to be around the Gryffindor. This hurt the little Badger's feelings a little bit, considering that those little freaks took a different interest in her. Perhaps it her manner that offended them? Something about her choice in clothing? The fact that they had never seen someone with dyed green hair before? Oh, the possibilities. After getting a warm welcome back from her Seventh Year counterpart, Anita happily took the chair that was offered to her. Sitting on top of the table was just another reason for the elves to go on an all-out attack on her, probably. So taking a seat on a piece of furniture that was actually designed for sitting was a great idea. It was a good way of getting back on the good side of the line. "Summer was a little boring," the Hufflepuff said in-between bites of her freezer pops. "Surprisingly, it was completely different than something I would usually do. Kind of charged up the batteries. Nothing special on my end. Kind of weird, really." She rolled her eyes as she finished speaking, almost as if to say that her family decided to do little during the summer. No interesting trips out of country for a change. How strange was that? In a quick turn-around, Anita knew that it was only right to return the serve. "How about you? Anything special in your summer?" She was talking to a Wood child. Of course, there had to have been something interesting happening in her life. Maybe something cooler than what the Goyle child had supposedly "planned" for herself. Quidditch stuff? That family was big into the sport. Okay, stop trying to figure out what she was doing. Let her say it herself.

[googlefont="Raleway"] urs was fab! words: 306 | Oliva loved the house elves, but each of them definitely had their own personalities. She couldn’t treat all of them the same way just like she couldn’t treat every witch or wizard the same way. Some hated her antics while others tolerated and just a few actually liked it. Some days she came into the kitchen only to be kicked out again. Today just so happened to be a good day.
Glad that Anita decided to sit, Liv scooted a bit so that her body language emphasized that her attention was all on the Hufflepuff. Her eyes glanced over her friend’s hair. She loved the color! It suited her so well too. She never would’ve expected. Liv only ever thought to go darker. Liv was not brave enough to go a wild color.
Liv gave a slight pouty face when Anita said her summer was boring, but then brightened up when it turned out to be a good thing. She supposed everyone was always so eager to get out of school, that when summer finally came, they actually didn’t know what to do with so much free time.
Then again… Liv could use with a whole lot more free time. There was always Quidditch to turn to. “Me? No, nothing special. You know me, any time I can get on the field, I do. Dad coached me a bit so I’m all ready for this year. No offense, but Gryffindors getting that cup,” she teased lightly, reaching over and poking the Hufflepuff lightly in the arm. They were both on their house Quidditch team. If Liv remembered correctly, they had met on the field.
“What about you? Get some practice in? It’s our last year. We gotta go out with a bang. Can you believe, it’s our last year?” A shiver of excitement ran through Liv.

a falling star fell from your heart. You know that patented "deer in the headlights" look that some people recreate when something is going a little over the rails? Anita felt like that when the subject of Quidditch came up. This Quidditch thing... She knew about it, but she wasn't at all interested in getting off the ground and flying around. One of the Hufflepuffs' biggest weaknesses happened to be motion sickness. Being on the ground and watching people spin around a foot above her made her nauseous. There wasn't any rhyme or reasoning behind it. The girl didn't want a piece of anything that went around in circles and traveled fast. "I think you might have mistaken me for another green-haired girl," Anita said, finishing off part of her snack. "I believe you were part of the Huffies' First Year flying lessons. I didn't fare well after getting down off of the broom." She wasn't sure if Olivia was in that class or not. All she remembered was the sight of everyone standing around her and a pile of her own vomit; some of the classmates having to quickly exit the group upon looking at whatever she had to eat for breakfast. That was just one of the memories that she had stored in her mind since getting off of the train seven years ago. Anita was a Seventh Year. What the hell was that supposed to mean? Other than NEWT-level classes, there wasn't anything special about her last year. It was just... Classes and free time, as per usual. As she opened up another freezer pop, the Seventh Year spoke up again. "I think that's just what I was thinking. I can't be sitting around here doing nothing. There has to be some sort of thing we can do. Get some of the other Seventh Years together and come up a prank?"That would just be her luck - not graduating because she messed up school property. 322 WORDS FOR OLIVIA R. WOOD ― I don't know... Something to remind me about my own character, I guess.

[googlefont="Raleway"] i didn't proofread >.> words: 322 | That was the thing… Olivia could talk about Quidditch with anyone. Most of the time she was talking at them. No one got as excited as she did and not everyone was into Quiddtich like she was. For the most part, she was okay with that. So long as they listened, she’d talk. She did get the hint though if someone didn’t want to talk about it. She knew how to talk about other stuff.
It took a second to realize that Anita definitely wasn’t on the team. Call it a brain fart or what have you, but Olivia felt a little dumb. She didn’t have the best memory, but she did like to keep her friends all sorted out in her head. She felt bad, but she also appreciated that Anita took it with such grace and didn’t shame her too badly.
Laughing it off, Olivia returned to snacking. She wasn’t found in the kitchen for no reason. At the very least, it gave Anita a chance to talk. Olivia liked hearing herself, but she wasn’t completely selfish. Laughing again, Olivia nodded with enthusiasm. She loved it when others wanted to get into mischief with her. Doing it by herself just wasn’t the same.
“Now we’re on the same page. I brought some stuff from Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. We can totally do something crazy. I say ambush all the first years and leave them with something to remember us by,” Olivia teased. “Or maybe the professors… maybe that’s too much. We don’t want to get expelled,” Olivia laughed. “Then again… who needs to graduate?” Olivia remarked sarcastically. Hell, from what she remembered, Harry Potter didn’t graduate. “What do you plan on doing anyway, Anita? After school?” Olivia got sidetracked from the pranking subject for just a moment. She was good at that. When her train of thought bounced from place to place, it was sometimes hard to keep up with her.
