& smile for you look better if you do The sound of quick footsteps could be heard throughout the empty halls of the seventh floor. Classes were being held and Evie was already too far behind in Transfiguration to attend her seventh year class. She hurried along the hallway, late as per usual. Time is such a funny thing, isn't it? Her Transfiguration professor had told Evie that she was to meet with another student for tutoring sessions until she was fluent enough to attend the class. Evie was slightly ashamed of herself. She was ashamed that she was one of the only people in the entire Warrington family that was an idiot, but slightly relieved that her intelligence was on par with her mother's family.
A quick right, corridor one, two, left turn. Soon, Evie found herself in front of a wall with the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. She stood there for a moment and looked around until she was certain that she was in the clear. She closed her eyes and began to think of a quiet room to study in. She paced around in front of the wall three times and the door appeared. She opened her eyes and grinned as she placed her hands on the oak doors and pushed hard. Her gaze met a standard room. There was an oak desk in the middle of the room along with two chairs to match. On the wall to her right was a tall bookshelf with some resources upon it. Most of the books were covered in dust, as were quite a few other items in the room. To the left, candles burned on the side of the walls to serve as light. Cobwebs and dust could be found in the upper corners of the walls. Evie sighed and placed her Transfiguration books upon the desk and took a seat.
She pushed her chair back just enough for her to balance on the chair's back legs and placed her own legs on the table top. Crossing her arms in front of her, Evie impatiently waited for the tutor she was supposed to meet.

LateCassie was never late. It was the castles fault, really, though saying so made her sound absolutely mad. First, she had gone to her common room to gather her things, and an owl that wasn't even hers had perched itself on one of her many books. It had taken a good five minutes to coax it off of her transfiguration books. After that, she had scared herself into believing she was already far too late. Cass had left the dungeons in a hurry, and as a result, had forgotten to jump over the trick step on the stairs. Of course she had, because if something humiliating happened, it happened to her. It took her another ten minutes, and a lot of blushing, to get her foot out of the stairs. And naturally she had practically fallen out of the hole. It had taken longer than she had hoped, but Cassie had finally arrived at the spot on the seventh floor she was told to meet the other student. To say she was nervous was an understatement. She had tutored before, just once, but it had been a first year. This time, it was a seventh year who was struggling. She felt bad for the girl, but she was horrible about talking to people as it was. On top of that, she was excited. Her mum had told her stories about the Room of Requirements. Apparently she had spent a lot of time in there, because she had loads of stories. Doing as she was told, all the pacing, and the picturing the place she wanted to be, she stopped as the doors appeared. Letting a wide smile cross her face, she took in a deep breath and pushed open the large doors in front of her. The room was better than she could have imagined. It was exactly what they needed. A tall bookshelf to one side of the room practically called to her. As much as she wanted to run over and just start reading, she turned her attention on the girl leaning back in her chair. Biting on her lip, she slowly walked over and set her bag on the floor. “Hi, I’m Cassie.” She introduced quietly, setting her books on the desk a crossed from the other girl.

& smile for you look better if you do Moments had passed before Evie began thinking to herself. She wondered who her tutor was. The only clues that were provided to Evie was that her tutor was a girl and that she was from Hufflepuff. Great, Evie thought, not even someone from my own house. Evie crossed her arms over her chest and huffed. She wasn't going to pout, but she was still a little weary about having someone else teach her Transfiguration. It wasn't that she was against being friends with others that were not from her house. One of her good friends was a Gryffindor, and on the Quidditch team to boot.
Another sigh escaped her glossed lips as she paid more attention to the details surrounding her. She hadn't noticed upon first glance that most of the trimmings in the room seem to have been carved out of gold. Perhaps wood and then painted gold. She couldn't be sure, but she liked it. The bookshelf seemed to still be in amazing condition despite the dust and cobwebs. Suddenly the door flew open and a young girl walked through. She had dark hair and eyes, her robes did indeed coincide with that of a Hufflepuff's. Evie smiled as the girl, looking shy, introduced herself as Cassie. Pretty name, thought Evie. She gave her shoulders a quick shrug before gathering herself and standing to her feet.
“Evie’s the name, failing classes is my game.” The young Slytherin chuckled to herself as she placed a hand out in front of her to greet Cassie. Upon doing so, Evie took the time to look at her tutor. She seemed young, younger than Evie herself. Evie could tell that this girl was shy, just by the way her demeanor appeared. Not to worry, I’ll fix that. Evie always enjoyed little projects, especially with girls who had the potential in becoming a friend to her. With the smile still playing tag with the corners of Evie’s mouth, she wiggled her hand a little bit for Cassie to take it. Patience was certainly not one of Evie’s virtues.
